The Jungle is a big place… approximately five times the size of the state of Texas. While there is no way that we ourselves could possibly reach the whole Jungle, we can team up with other Christ followers who have a heart for discipleship to work towards that goal.
That is what we have done with our ministry team.
God has allowed us the privilege of working with several solid believers who are passionate about making His name known in our neck of the Jungle. You can read more about them under the The People tab. Iron sharpens iron as we serve together, loving our neighbor and seeking to glorify God in all that we do.
One of our primary commands as followers of Christ is to make disciples [who go on to make more disciples who go on to make more disciples…]. To do that, we work with our ministry team to train, encourage, and admonish.
We frequently come together for meals and fellowship to discuss life and His Word. We help meet physical needs as they arise and provide a safe place when they come through town. We often provide basic medical attention and even hospital care when necessary. These are all part of being of one body and one mind. Our joint focus is to love God and love others.
That is the model we see in Scripture, and that is how we will see this region, including the uncontacted tribes, reached with the life-saving Gospel.
